A Little Bit About Us
Maybe a few of you haven't heard of Headlines before. If it's your first time here, welcome! If you're coming back to us after some time away, welcome back! We're appreciate every single one of you, supporting our black-owned business which has been running since 1987.
Our journey began with David Stennett working out of his dad's garage to supply salons in London with high quality imported product from the US for their customers.
With the help of his trusty blue Ford Transit van, he expanded the operation up to the rest of the UK, and then to Europe, and the rest is history.
You can be confident that even to this day, we only stock the very best products that the salons are using themselves. When you buy from us, you're buying the best expertise in the business!
Shiny new features
But that's just in the past. We wanted to show you some of the wonderful new features that will help you to browse the site quicker and easier.
Firstly, we've created a brand new subscribe and save function. Amazon eat your heart out!
So many people reached out to ask if we could implement a product subscription service - probably after reaching for a bottle of shampoo only to find the bottle empty.
Not only will this new feature prevent this tragedy from happening, you'll also save a bit of money in the process!
For all subscriptions, you'll be able to save 10% of the cost of the products compared to a one-time sale.
We've also made some great changes to the homepage which will allow you to get to the products that you're looking for faster than ever.
You can now search by ingredient through our entire catalogue of products! This little change should hopefully have a really positive impact if you know exactly what your hair needs to thrive.

Meet Afara, our new product range
We'd also like to take the chance to introduce you to Afara, a brand-new range of products that we've developed ourselves, and that we're extremely proud to share with you.
Having spent years working with salons and hearing about the challenges that people have with their hair, we've taken all of our expertise and knowledge to bring you Afara.
Taking full advantage of cupuaçu butter, which comes for the Amazon Rainforest, we've created a range which is more hydrating that shea and cocoa butter, and also gives an unbeatable lightweight finish in the hair. You'll be amazed when you try it!
